This is the beginning。Easy, fast reading, Unger always gets my attention。 Told from multiple points of view the story is scary but interesting。

**same review for all 4 stories**All I have done since I woke up this morning is read this series。 Sigh, I just love Lisa Unger。 We get this very atmospheric and creepy vibe in part #1, followed by a bit of levity layered with suspense and Slender Man vibes but with the Dark Man in part #2, ouija boards and chilly games in part #3, ending with revelations wonder in part #4。 You want it, you've got it!I love how quick each read was and how I felt like I was going backwards and forwards at the sam **same review for all 4 stories**All I have done since I woke up this morning is read this series。 Sigh, I just love Lisa Unger。 We get this very atmospheric and creepy vibe in part #1, followed by a bit of levity layered with suspense and Slender Man vibes but with the Dark Man in part #2, ouija boards and chilly games in part #3, ending with revelations wonder in part #4。 You want it, you've got it!I love how quick each read was and how I felt like I was going backwards and forwards at the same time。。。 which I know sounds weird but it's delicious fun。 I just could NOT STOP。 I really can't way much without spoiling things but this is quite the ride。 Not only was there this。。。。 nope, can't say that。。。。 hmm。 I really loved that。。。 Nope, can't say that either。 Y'all! This is hard。Ok, Unger, as you know (and if you don't - go remedy that immediately), is AMAZING at setting the very creepy and suspenseful atmosphere that lends to the perfect read for this rainy, gloomy day。 Talk about mood setting (thanks Nature!)。 Drawing readers in immediately and keeping them wondering - you'll have a lot of fun with this one。 Just remember, you can't hide from the past forever and sometime evil just needs an excuse to show face。。。 so be careful out there, readers。 Caw caw。 。。。more
Obsidian,
The entire short story collection was great。 I don’t know why this wasn’t just published as an Amazon original story, but maybe because it would have been too long。 I liked the characters and the question of whether the Dark Man was real or not。 The ending of the book though leaves a question of whether time can heal things or not。 I did have to say that the character of Samantha left me with some questions though。
Beth Roberts,
Solid writing, standard haunted house/psychotic killer tropes with some underlying evil supernatural stuff going on。 Or is it? Nothing straying far from the creepy traditional canons。 Yet。
Jessi Sharp,
I’m hooked!Intriguing! The story hooked me right away! Must read! Great summer reading material。 Can’t wait to read book 2 next。
Lisa,

P。S。 Of course I gave it 5 stars! I wrote it!! ;) 。。。more
Jessica | JustReadingJess,
House of Crows is a thrilling short story collection。 This short story collection is full of the suspense I expect in a Lisa Unger Novel。 I liked how all of the stories were connected with the first and last story being the most interconnected。 I usually am not a big fan of short stories but really enjoyed this collection。 These stories are creepy。 I liked all the different characters stories。 There is also a reference to the Hollows which is a popular setting for Unger’s novels。 The short stori House of Crows is a thrilling short story collection。 This short story collection is full of the suspense I expect in a Lisa Unger Novel。 I liked how all of the stories were connected with the first and last story being the most interconnected。 I usually am not a big fan of short stories but really enjoyed this collection。 These stories are creepy。 I liked all the different characters stories。 There is also a reference to the Hollows which is a popular setting for Unger’s novels。 The short stories are about four friends that had a dark past and how that affects their life。 The stories give their individual stories and then bring them all together when they reunite。 I recommend House of Crows for fans of creepy thrillers and short stories。I listened to the audiobook narrated by James Anderson Foster, Susanna Jones, Frankie Corzo, Saskia Maerlavald, Jonathon Davis, and Adam Verner。 I loved all the different narrators。 It was fun to hear all the different narrators bringing these characters to life。Thank you Amazon Publishing for House of Crows。Full Review: https://justreadingjess。wordpress。com。。。 。。。more
